The School Board helps set the direction for the district.

Trustees approve policies and budgets, set goals, check the district's progress, and evaluate the Superintendent.

The Board does not run the schools each day. That is the job of the Superintendent and district staff.

I believe Trustees should come prepared, ask good questions, listen, and keep students at the center of every decision.

Success after high school can look different for every student.

Some students will go to a four-year college. Others may choose community college, skilled trades, job training, an apprenticeship, military service, or work.

I want Howell students to leave school with the knowledge, skills, and experiences they need to take their next step with confidence.

I have five main priorities:

They all come back to one goal: helping every Howell student succeed.

Our community works hard for its money. The district should use those dollars with care.

I believe the Board should understand how money is being spent, ask questions, plan for the future, and make sure spending supports district goals.

The community also deserves clear information about where its money goes.

Board members will not always agree. That is okay.

I will listen, ask questions, share my views with respect, and stay open to other ideas.

My goal is not to win an argument. My goal is to help the Board make the best decision for Howell students and schools.

Start with the person closest to the issue. In many cases, that is your child's teacher.

If the issue is not solved, the next step may be the principal or another district leader.

As a Trustee, I will listen and help people understand where to go for help. I will not use my Board position to take over issues that should be handled by school staff.

If I see a larger problem that affects many students or families, I can ask questions about it at the Board level.

A Trustee serves the whole community, including people who may disagree with them.

I will listen with respect, consider different views, study the facts, and explain why I make a decision.

We may not always agree, but you deserve to be heard and treated with respect.

I have been involved with Howell Public Schools for many years.

I have served with PTOs, athletics, band, special education, school improvement, MTSS, and the district's bond work. I now serve as a Trustee.

My professional work also includes planning, community engagement, communication, and bringing people together to solve problems.

I have been serving Howell schools and our community for years as a parent, volunteer, advocate, and community partner.

In June 2026, I was appointed to the Howell Public Schools Board of Education.

I am running because I want to continue that service and help make sure Howell has strong schools for years to come.

School Board is a nonpartisan office.

I believe school decisions should be about students, families, strong schools, and our community—not political parties.

I look at each issue, ask questions, study the information, and make the decision I believe is best for Howell Public Schools.
